Rebecca Prust, LICSW

Greetings! I am glad you are here. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 20+ years of experience working in many different roles of mental health care and support. Empathy and nonjudgement guide my therapeutic approach and I truly value and respect the uniqueness of each person’s lived experiences. Inclusion and equity in mental health services are very important to me.

Life can be tough and true perfection is unlikely; however, I believe that everyone can have more moments of joy. My goal is to work with people to find that joy amongst the challenges. Using evidence based therapeutic approaches, we will work together to make needed changes and to elevate the strengths. I have extensive experience working in the following areas: Diagnostic Assessments, Anxiety, OCD, Phobias, Depression, Antepartum and postpartum care, Caregiver/guardian support, Life transitions, Relationships, Work/life balance and Mindfulness.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my two children and my friends. I recently have taken up gardening which I find to be great for mindfulness work. I also have a rescue dog, who is working through anxiety, that is a huge part of my life. Don’t be surprised if she pops up to say hi in Zoom calls.

Please reach out to me to chat and see if we might be a good fit to work together! I am happy to consult with you about your hopes and goals in therapy before we dig in and get to work! Let’s get started!
