Lisa Bonahoom, LMFT

Hello! I’m an LMFT with 14 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes working with a variety of conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.   I am committed to providing a tailored therapeutic experience for every client.  As a therapist, I strive to create a warm and supportive atmosphere where you feel comfortable, even if you are new to therapy.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and dependent on your goals- we all seek therapy for different reasons. I incorporate mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy and sometimes, even a little humor!  The challenges facing us can feel insurmountable - therapy can provide a sense of hope and empowerment during these difficult times. My role is to help you move through whatever challenges you’re facing in a skillful and positive way.

I’m passionate about helping people navigate life transitions, work stress, relationship conflict, and parenting concerns.  I also have extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse and disordered eating.  It would be my honor to collaborate with you and support you on your journey!
