Erika Posthumus, LICSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, children and families. I've helped many people, especially children who have experienced trauma or been through tough times, families dealing with domestic violence, and immigrants adjusting to a new life and working through immigration truama. I'm here to help you understand why certain things keep happening, like feeling stuck or believing negative things about yourself. Together, we'll figure out how past experiences might be affecting you and how you can take charge of your healing journey. It is my goal to help you find a safe space to take ownership of your path to healing and discover inner strength and resilience.
I integrate motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and other modalities to best fit each individual on their healing journey. My passion lies in cultivating meaningful connections and providing a secure space for clients to explore their strengths and tackle challenges.
I offer therapy services in person and via telehealth, in both English and Spanish. Let's embark on this journey of healing together.
