Dr. Emmanuel Oppong, LPCC, PhD
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over ten years of experience working in settings to include clinics, schools, prisons, inpatient, and outpatient treatment facilities. I have worked with individuals, families, couples, adults, children, and adolescents from a diverse population. I utilize an integrated and holistic treatment approach tailored to clients' needs to ensure that clients achieve their full potential and well-being.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana, pursued his master’s degree in Community Counseling Psychology at St. Cloud State University, graduating in 2013, and completed the “Strategies for Leading Successful Change Initiatives,” a professional development program through Harvard Extension School at Harvard University in 2018. I hold a master’s and doctoral degree in psychology from Walden University. I have a passion for helping the underserved, marginalized, underprivileged, and BIPOC population and has worked with clinics in the Metropolitan and Central Minnesota. I hold a graduate certificate in Chemical Dependency and work with clients with co-occurring disorders. I have completed my internship with the Department of Corrections, Minnesota Correctional Facility-St Cloud, providing therapy for sex offenders with addiction and mental health illnesses.
