Brian Oduguwa, LICSW
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a broad and unique base of experience providing mental health services while working in a wide variety of settings. I enjoy working with adults, families and couples. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process enabling people to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and counseling to help people effectively address personal life challenges. I am very fond of supporting others in seeking meaning and harmony in their life. My hope is to walk alongside you throughout this journey of progress and development. No matter the terrain you find yourself traversing at this juncture in your life, Iām here to utilize my training/experience, your motivation, and our collaboration to create the change you want to see within yourself and your life.
Areas of emphasis include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, varying degrees of trauma, personality disorders, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. In addition, addressing difficulties related to self-love, self-care, self-acceptance, and identity issues with internal thoughts such as (Who am I, Is it okay to be who I am, am I worthy..) I am also experienced in the areas of marital and family therapy.
