Beth Brown, LICSW

Beth is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with nearly 10 years of experience in the field of medical social work and end-of-life care. Beth graduated with her Masters of Social Work from St. Catherine University/University of St. Thomas (Area of Emphasis in Aging Scholars member).

Beth has served as a hospice social work case manager working with patients and their families while on hospice care services. Beth also has experience in the inpatient hospital setting, outpatient clinic setting, and most recently as a grief counselor. Beth specializes in grief & loss counseling, caregiver support, end-of-life care experiences, and navigating serious illness. Beth knows that grief is not only the result of a death but also of the loss of future plans, changes in role and purpose, and in loss of physical ability. Beth also knows that while grief will never go away it has the ability to evolve.

Through a person-centered and strengths-based approach, Beth supports individuals in their grief journey with compassion and the understanding often times not given by society.

Outside of the clinical setting, Beth can be found walking the lakes in Minneapolis, biking, and cooking.

Note: Beth is currently only accepting tele-health clients through Spring Health EAP at this time.
